Delicious food with a side of history!
"Karina was our guide for the tour - she had a good energy and very knowledgeable about the area. I loved that the tour focused only on family owned businesses. We began at a local shop that sells cheeses and meats. We tasted 2 cheeses and the Porchetta - delicious! We walked down the street to sample fried rice balls - a real treat! "Stephanie was a wonderful guide. She was friendly and engaging and really knew Italian food. She took us on a whirlwind tour of some interesting and fun places to enjoy some excellent food! "Our tour guide Fernanda was incredible! She was so kind and knowledgeable and was very open to questions and discussion. She shared a lot of great history on the impact of the Jewish people on roman food and culture. "This was a great tour! Giulia gave us a wonderful introduction to the food of Rome. We started in Trastevere and moved into Testaccio, including the local market. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the area (she grew up there) and the history of the foods we tried. The vendors and restaurants we visited had a good variety of delicious food for us, including local wines to try. Maritozzi, polpette, suppli, cheese and Cacio e pepe are some of the wonderful foods we tasted. We were not hungry at the end. We highly recommend this tour in Rome."

"Our tasting dinner with Valeria was absolutely wonderful! Leading up to our visit, we had been looking for a tour/activity focused on the 4 Roman pastas, and this experience could not have been more perfect.
